Welcome to the Deer Creek Fund of the Helen K. and Arthur E. Johnson Foundation.

The Deer Creek Fund is a satellite of the Johnson Foundation based in Denver, Colorado. The Fund accepts applications from Oregon on a Request for Proposal basis only.

Applications for funding can be made through September 17, 2010.

2010 Application Process

Creating an Account

First, you will need to create a permanent online account for your organization via our application website CLICK HERE . Be sure to make note of your username and password for future use.

Navigation

Your account’s main page will provide information on how to proceed with the application process. You may enter information and edit your responses as many times as you like before finally clicking the Submit button.

Formatting

We strongly recommend that you first write your responses in a word format prior to filling out the online form. This will allow for ease in editing. You may then simply cut and paste those responses directly onto the form.  Please use plain text.  The use of bullets, italics and other format options may not translate directly, depending upon the system you are using.

Attachments

We request that you attach an electronic copy of your IRS determination letter, a list of your Board of Directors with affiliations, a copy of your complete budget for the grant request, and a program budget if applicable. 

Length

Certain questions in the application allow you to enter text in a narrative format.  Please adhere to the length restrictions for those questions.  If you exceed the total characters allowed for a response, they will not be part of the application.
