Dear Grant Recipients and Friends:

It is a pleasure to inform you that the Trustees of the Helen K. and Arthur E. Johnson Foundation will continue grant making activities in Colorado, Idaho and Oregon. The Foundation’s priorities and interest areas remain consistent, but funding will begin to encompass a wider geographic area in the years to come.

Next year the Foundation will use a new online application process. The content is similar to our previous application, and supporting documents may be easily uploaded. Beginning January 17, 2012, the new online application and all related information can be accessed through the Foundation’s web address: www.johnsonfoundation.org.

Colorado and Idaho organizations previously funded by the Johnson Foundation are eligible to apply for 2012 grants. Oregon organizations, however, may apply by invitation only. Others serving people in Colorado and Idaho may submit a preliminary letter for consideration through our online process. Cycles for receipt and review of applications for funding are as follows:

For Colorado grant seekers

Deadline: March 1 for consideration at the June meeting (If you last received a grant in the January – June time period)

Deadline: September 1 for consideration at the December meeting (If you last received a grant in the July – December time period)

For Idaho grant seekers through the Deer Creek Fund

Deadline: March 1 for consideration at the June meeting For Oregon grant seekers (application is by invitation only)

Deadline: September 1 for consideration at the December meeting
