Johnson Foundation to cease operating in 2016

After nearly seven decades and four generations, the Board of Trustees has decided 2015 will be the final year of grant making for the Helen K. and Arthur E. Johnson Foundation. While the Foundation will not accept grant requests after September 1, 2015, the family legacy of giving will continue via two smaller, family foundations which will begin making grants in 2016 or 2017. Please check our Foundation website for future updates.

The Board of Trustees is proud to have partnered with so many wonderful nonprofits in Colorado and beyond. The hard work of these organizations and their leaders has helped countless people achieve self-sufficiency, put thousands of disadvantaged youth on a path to success, and made significant progress toward solving some of our region’s most pressing problems.

Prior recipients of Johnson Foundation grants may continue to submit regular grant applications until September 1, 2015.

Thank you for your tireless efforts helping others and making a lasting impact.
